This delightful animated film by Dustin Ellis features the voice talents
of Shohrei Aghdashloo (House of Sand and Fog, 24), Catherine Bell (JAG)
and others. Babak, a mischievous boy, has been raised outside of Iran.
While his friends celebrate holidays like Christmas and Easter, he feels
like an outsider, until his cousins arrive from Iran to celebrate Norooz,
the Persian New Year, opening up a whole new world of games and a new
connection to his heritage. A panel discussion with the film's producers
will follow.
This event made possible by Evolving Perceptions. Event will also feature
a trailer for their new movie "A Persian Journey". |
